Embark on an unforgettable journey through the heart of the Finger Lakes region with Southern Tier Stables’ trail riding adventures! Our experienced guides will lead you on a scenic exploration of nearly 2500 acres of state forest, showcasing the breathtaking beauty of this unique landscape. Trail rides are available March 1st through November 15th. Rides outside of these dates are available upon request. Please call to set up your appointment.

Safety and Comfort First
For an enjoyable and safe ride, all trail riders with Southern Tier Stables are accompanied by a friendly and knowledgeable staff member, either mounted on horseback or walking alongside the group.
Booking and Reservations
Call today to reserve your spot for your next trail ride. Payment is required at the time of booking, refundable only if canceled within 12 hours of your scheduled ride. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Please note: up to 4 riders in a party are allowed, and a deposit is required to reserve a ride.
Cancellations need to be made no less than 2 hours in advance of your scheduled ride to receive a refund. Otherwise, no refunds.

Additional Information
Instructional Lesson
For riders using a Southern Tier Stables horse, a brief instructional session is included before the trail ride to assess your riding ability and ensure a suitable horse match.
Safety Gear
Helmets are mandatory for all riders 18 years old and younger on Southern Tier Stables horses.
Attire
Dress comfortably in clothing suitable for outdoor activities. Closed-toe shoes or boots with a heel are recommended for optimal safety and stirrup control.
Bring Your Own Horse
Prefer to explore the trails with your own horse? Haul-ins are welcome! Please contact Donna at 315-224-9085 to schedule your ride. All haul-in horses must have proof of rabies vaccination and a negative Coggins test.
